Frequently Asked Questions

Does Folio support LaTeX?

Yes! You can write LaTeX equations in your posts. Just use \( ... \) for inline math and \[ ... \] for display math. Folio will render them beautifully.

Can Folio automatically fill in my article details?

Absolutely! Just enter the arXiv ID or DOI of a paper when adding an article, and Folio will fetch the metadata for you — saving you time and effort.

Can I customize the colors of my profile?

Yes. Head to Preferences to personalize the look of your folio with your own background and accent colors.

Is it possible to upload files to my folio?

Yes! You can upload files like PDFs, slides, or datasets via the Files section in the admin panel.

Can I add a cover image and avatar?

Definitely. Just go to your Profile to upload or change your avatar and cover image.

What if I need custom sections in my CV?

You can create your own sections in your CV if the built-in ones don't cover everything. Add any content you want and organize it your way.

Can I print my CV?

Yes! Just hit "Print" in your browser while viewing your CV. Folio will generate a clean, printable layout — without sidebars or navigation. You can adjust margins and scale from there.
